We're Going Public!

Baptism is an incredible moment for every person who has given their life to Christ. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to signify the work that Christ has done inside of us. Our old life is buried and we are raised to new life. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.

We are so excited that you are taking your faith in Jesus public! To make the day extra special, we would love for your friends and family to join you. If you will provide names and addresses of those you would like to invite, we will send personal invitations for you. Fill out the form to schedule your baptism and invite guest.

But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” Matthew 9:14 
If your child is asking about baptism and expresses interest, here are some great questions you can ask to see if he or she is ready.

  1. Can you tell me about your relationship with Jesus?
  2. What does baptism mean?
  3. Why do you want to be baptized?

After speaking with your child you may feel that he or she needs to wait. It is always better to wait until you are certain that your child understands the significance of baptism. If you feel your child is ready for baptism please let us know and we would love to celebrate with you.
