About Cultivate Jail Ministry
Cultivate Church serves the Shelby County Jail by facilitating Celebrate Recovery 12 Steps. CR 12 Steps is a weekly step-study session for 1½-2 hours to those incarcerated.
This ministry provides a natural transition back to the community from the institution since Cultivate offers a local Celebrate Recovery. This is also a partnership with the family of the incarcerated person to receive support and community through the life of Cultivate.
By working though the principles, participants grow spiritually, and are freed from their hurts, hang-ups, and addictive habits. Our desire is for them to find freedom in Jesus and discover what it means to live life on purpose.
